Friday, January 07, 2005 ::: so scared of losing her grandma's presence with us shall never be taken for granted alone in the hallway outside the ward projection of a life not too far from now was it dread or anticipation? I really can't tell. a pretty lifeless green shadow passed by almost like existence barely noticed is that what I'm going to be? bi weekly assembly somebody raised an interesting question and got an interesting answer from the speaker which I really hope could inspire some guy rambling next to me i shrugged couldn't wait to go home the second I got in the train saw a lovely baby girl in her mother's arms, wearing a cute pink hat i looked at her and smiled she saw me and responded by smiling the sweetest smile a real cheerful baby whenever she looked at me she would smile a real killer smile - teethless joyfulness that is glowing she reached out her hand, her gaze so intense such lovely creature she played with her mom's mobile phone with endless curiosity logically deciphering every button and every sound the machine makes all at once the world outside doesn't matter anymore later on she diverted her attention to a pack of kleenex before we got off at kowloon tong she reached out and wanted me to have it what sweet gesture mother embarrassingly fetched it and put it away the door opened, and we parted ways in a life without crisis we tend to forget the promises we made it's often when we only have one wish left we remember the pledge we thought we could keep too weak to stand tall please don't let me fall and let realization come when it's a little too late. ::: posted by Wings at 1/07/2005 09:06:00 AM
